A Social Enterprise

What that means is that we are a business that measures success in terms of delivering on our social objectives as much as our commercial results. In our case, our mission is to make sustainable home warmth affordable for all.

To be considered a social enterprise, a company must re-invest its financial surpluses in achieving its mission, rather than maximise profits for shareholders – which we also do. Other examples of social enterprises include the Eden Project and the Big Issue.
